BMA180

Post by doublemind »

A good friend of mine gave me some BMA180 sensors. The problem is, they are without any breakout board. I'm unable to use the sensors, cause I can't solder that tiny parts.

Anyone here from germany who can handle those small parts?

I'll pay with two extra sensors for 2 working breakouts. ;)
Any other idea is welcome too.

Kind regards.
Carsten

No I haven't got the PCB. I got only some sensors. They were a present from a friend. No more to come.
Sorry. I'm not interested in selling them. I only want to exchange some sensors with some fully working breakouts.

For example: I'll give you 4 sensors and you'll give me 2 working breakouts.
Sorry for my poor english.

Hey Matt,

thank you very much for your support. Someone from germany might be more comfortable for me, cause I'm not sure about shipping cost to Paris, but maybe I'll use your offer. Thank you really very much.
Maybe we can continue in a personal message.

Neat regards

RESPECT! Very good work. Seems to be a good solution, but I'm not sure if i can handle the small solder pads. Need to find some very small cables.
Looks if connected only 4 pins. Is that right?

Neat regards

Hi Carsten,

Schematic from datasheet:
http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sens ... 000-03.pdf
Figure 21

VDD and VDDIO connected together. So, for external connection you need only 4 wires VDD, GND, SCL, SDA.
