PID settings for Aerosky h100

Post by snorkrc »

I would love to have someone post their PID settings for the Aerosky h100 quadcopter. I'm tuning mine now, but not finding the same settings that it came stock with. Would love to know both stable and aerobatic settings.

Hi there,

I suppose the "default" settings are GUI_settings (pic)
"default", supposelly for begginers. On mine way too touchy.

. I am also in the process to dial H100 in but those settings seem to be way to touchy.
I am running these (pic currentPID)

and I can get a better hover indoors. Also very interested to see what settings work for different people.
I also did connect the aux1 port on the board (Arduino Pro/Pro Mini 5V, 16MHz ATmega328) to my receiver CH5 and chose GEAR for my channel 5 on TH9X in hopes to get a stable/acro choice but not sure how to dial it all in. The first try while flipping the gear switch It got VERY VERY touchy commands and wasn't able to make it a nice hover.

hope to get more people involved here...

thanks

You should go to mwii version 2.2. Version 2.0 is too old.

Mine flew great out of the box but I after attempting to update to multiwii 2.2 and then after reading that 2.2 wasn't a good idea I went back to 2.0. Ever since I have not been able to get stable flight. I have recalibrated the ESC's and done both calibrations from within the multiwii software and the controller calibrations.
I've messed with the PID's and tried to do it the way I've seen others on youtube do but it seems to fly "lazy".. and when I increase P it gets less "lazy" but seems to toilet bowl. It doesn't seem to want to level out. I've reciently learned that you can change settings and test it while holding it in your hand. Which BTW, is WAY easier than setting test PID's, running outside only to crash it, run back in, plug in, change settings, write, run back outside......

So, I understand it came with multiwii 2.0 installed.

What where the default settings when it was shipped? That's what I'm looking for. I just want it back the way it was when I got it.

I've tried the settings above and nether seem to want to work.... grrrrr.
