Can I mount a Naze32 controller off center?

I do it all the time with my other FCs, as long as we are not talking something massive. A couple of inches is fine. The Gyro does not care, it is the Acc and the Mag that will have a small error introduced, but it should not be noticeable.

isnt that the type of error you can negate by doing the stick calibrating? or is that just for level mode?

gyros are measuring angular velocity. that is absolutely not connected to the position just to the angle of the movement. the acc however gets affected by off center installation if the copter is doing fast transitions, because of the bigger g forces that are connected to the diatance to center of rotation.
