Autoland without GPS

Hi, I'm a newbie considering my first quad build based on Multiwii board. I Assumed that it can be programmed to autoland on failsafe because it has a barometer, but only found an old thread here with outdated software mod version that could do autoland. Is it possible at all? I found some videos that show that, but no information on how to program this functionality. I'm not planning on hacing a GPS, and my Rx doesn't have its own failsafe, so I just need a failsafe on loss of signal that would autoland and then shut off the motors and start beeping. Seems trivial considering the hardware on multiwii, but I couldn't figure out how.
