Hello,
today I put (freshly flashed/updated) AfroMini32 on miniquadX and after selecting quadX (or +) in configurator I get no output on S3 and S4 (motors don't spin at all).
I had to mirror outputs from motor 3 and 4 to motors 5 and 6 using cmix to get it working.
Wrong default mix for quadx and + on AfroMini32

You are saying that I must enable gimbal tilt to get normal quadX or quad+ working on default pins on AfroMini?!
Re: Wrong default mix for quadx and + on AfroMini32
Yes, correct.
I think this is mentioned somewhere (or at least in afromini setup threads).
Because *default* purpose of afromini is for planes, so the servo/motor mapping is different.
and its SERVO_TILT

Oh! Make up your mind! Last time we had discussion about AfroMini you said it was meant for mini quads...

Well...
Initial ideas we're about planes and gliders.
- planes - that's why throttle out is here
- gliders - to have baro onbord (use as vario or just for DLG records)
Also, dimensions aren't random - this stuff should fit even into small DLG's:
