dev_20120528 and dev_20120504 does not connect

Post by jedlesee »

hi all,

I am a newbie. So sorry if this could be nonsense.

Having a 'ZMR MulitiWii SE' (CRIUS) board with the little FTDI USB board.

The MultiWiiConf_2_0.exe packed in MultiWii_2_0.zip works fine, I can connect
and read out PID etc. MAG and ACC are working too.

Using the dev_20120528 or the dev_20120504 shows not signal from the board.
Using the MultiWiiConf_2_0.exe packed in MultiWii_2_0.zip the TX and RX LED
blink nearly synchronous. Using the others dev versions named above, TX is
blinking but RX ist constantly on.

Any clues please ?

P.S. is there a simple way to read out what software version is loaded in the board?

no,

some serial communication issue with the gui is solved in the latest dev version ,

download the latest dev version upload the firmware again and use the gui that is shipped within the zip ;)

if the issue persist , we might investigate further

thanks for the info. Since I did not upload any firmware in the past, I will stick with the
one that's on the board. Don't thinkI will miss something for my first flights.

After reading and wading  through all the forum infos I will upload the latest firmware.

With other words - GUI depends all the time on the corresponding firmware - am I right?
