That is a beast.
One comment, it states the battery is about 400g and only 4000mah?
I have a 5000mah that's 410g, probably a better power to weight ratio for yours.
What's its total lift capacity? Why so big/powerful with the worlds smallest camera onboard? :p

Im planning on taking up a much bigger slr camera for still photography + high power TX for video.
The max payload ~>5kG.
I went for a Nano-tech 25-60c 4000mAh 4s because its resonable C ratings. It only just gets a little warm. I can use two of these in parallel if i want.
What make is your 5000mA battery and how does it perform?

my 5000mah is 25C and is "Turnigy"
I have had no problems with it, according to the charger it easily holds more than 5000mah.
I've weighed it and it is indeed about 410g. Maybe worth looking at for you as they are not expensive.
Aah, DSLR! You are a brave man to put one of those on a quad. I've crashed too many times to risk that with mine.
I have enough lift to put small "Point and Click" cams on with no problem and will probably be doing so for recording video as the Radio TX is SD/Pal only so not great resolution. Good for FPV though.

i wonder at what throttle position your hex is taking off? the one i just build is taking off in about 55% of the throttle using 2x 2200mah batteries in parallel.
