Ok guys, here we go, 2012-2013 summary.

Please keep in mind that i had the exclusive permissions and mission from eventmasters to get those captures. I did tons of testflights before moving my copter to events. In order to keep it as safe as possible. At events i stood only a few meters away of the flightspots (no FPV) to see the exact behaviour of my copter. I was registrated and would have taken full responibility if something would have gone wrong. You may still share your critics, i am open for discussion :)
Hope you like it!

Awesome as always Noc ;) Thumbs up :D

I feel your ship with an awesome rigidity=(rock stable) without any unwanted vibes, I can also feel that you are shooting in Acro, just love it!

Cheers,
-KV

Edit: what I meant to say with my reply to your reply  :) on my topic viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3433&start=30#p42117 was that you were being super kind when you said that the footage was impressive, in fact I think that it is not... because of what i describe. Also, after many time spent searching for the tearing problem I decided to design a new frame from scratch instead of keeping the same frame and change motors, props (diameter), batteries (3s to 4s)... and so on. This way I will go for a new entire setup from scratch, I think that after some years around this I would be able to design exactly what a pilot needs, not because i am a good designer but because I really use them to fly.
Again, a big thanks for your friendship and kind words.

And yes to your question, I was using a vibe dampener, the copter is a Spidex v1 and it already have a vibe dampener using the batts weight as counter balance to cameras weight...

Hey KV,
i am serious about what i said, that pans are smooth and you get the right POV in the landscapes, that just impressed me. I am excited about your new frame and understand your hardware problem. My copter is also close to its limits, with strong wind (around 30km/h~60km/h) it is flyable, but far from stable due to lack of power... Btw. I also still use the same motors, i used as i joined Multiwii :)
Those Robbe Roxxys seem to be trustworthy.

KV, maybe give this anti-vibration mount a try!
It is a difference like day and night. And be sure it is mounted directly under your cam and the gimbal plate that holds your cam. I bet it would improve your footage. It outplays most dampening mounts i have seen so far. DIY FTW ;) -> viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1223

Btw. if you flip your mount around 180° so the cam is hanging on the ohropax, the result will be even better.

Thank you also for your kind words about my videos that motivates. :)
The PID meditation you recommended me, was the base for my last footage dude :D And all the work you did on KV OSD....it made me so much more flexible it is sooo usefull! Thank you!
I am currently also thinking about a redesign for my quad. I also developed my current frame in CAD, but did cut it out by hand.
Have to say that my current frame is extremely robust. No crash could lead to damage further then a broken prop. But its weight/flightime performance sucks....only 10 Minutes on 3s 3000mah...need 74% throttle to hover with current 750KV Motor/GWS 10x6x3 prop setup. These props are so damn smooth....They should be produced in 11"....

P.S. yes, my copter needs tires! why? you will see in my next vid

New Quadcopter design in progress :)
It was inspired by teslaheds design! I like this design idea!

Btw. teslahed, if you read this, have to say i was quite impressed by your video. Your copter behaves great! Looking forward to some onboard captures!

Enough talking, picture does the explaination ;)

Btw. the top plate will be covered with alu foil to get accurate mag readings -> viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3082
