Hello guys,

Here is the new release from my vacation in Sologne, France:
https://vimeo.com/channels/multicopterpilot/47272340

It was 80 % filmed with the Multiwiicopter Scarab YSiix and 20% with the Scarab QuadOcta as Quad.

Dear all,

Here is a new film release, made with the Scarab Multiwiicopter QuadOcta set up as Quad. This is with the Graupner e-props. My personal conclusion on these is a prefer the triples as they give good results in hover as well as fast forward while the e-props tend to give a small gello when flying fast forward (even if the balancing is done carefully).

This is again in the South of France, this time in Rustrel, the place is called Provençal Colorado !

What´s the point on using DJI and posting here? what are you using after all to control your Scarab/Scarabs? Last time I saw, Multiwiicopter was Multiwii based! Probably was only when I get my first FC ParisV4 ;)

Hi,

You are right, the EOS and Z3 is DJI only, posted here by mistake, sorry.

I am using Paris v4r5 on the Scarab QuadOcta and Paris v4r3 on the Scarab Reconn. I lost a Reconn on Naza but the rebuilt is on Paris. The Y6 was initially on Paris, it flew well but at the time GPS was not available on Paris and I converted to WKM.

Cheers,

Gregory

Hello,

Some of you may have seen part of the images included in this video. This is from my trip one year ago in French Polynesia, visiting Raiatea and Tahaa islands. In this short film, you may recognize Motu Mirimiri and Motu Cerran, Pk10 Uturoa and Raiatea Lodge Hotel. I finally found some time to do a decent edit...
