MultiWii

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I have started a research project in my university which requires me to develop algorithms on multiwii based quad.

I have downloaded multiwii 2.3 to read & understand the code as the initial step.

But the code seems a mess and not human readable (at least for me) because of all the ifdefs

Can you guys please point me where I can get v1.0 of this code which I hope less messy? or some document that explains how multiwii code work? (code break down) ?
