I2C 1602 and 2004 LCD not supported?

Are those LCD here not supported? They are great for old people. Big chars, Cheap ... :geek:

if you find out the controller type that might help you to find an answer comparing with the list of supported displays. (There is one known line of displays+controllers (sainsmart?) I was too lazy to implement. I got one sitting here that looks like your 2004 - 1$ for the trouble plus shipping and it's yours.)

I understand the wish for big chars. You may look into the choice of digole displays I posted some time ago

Digole has the same 2004 display for $2.50 more but with a MUCH BETTER interface than the bangood one which is just a IIC to parallel expansion IC.

all digole displays I have used utilize the same controller interface- i2c support has been in MWii for some time now. Good luck.
