The Crius AIOP V2 has on board data logging- "Built-in 16Mbit data flash memory chip to record the data automatically"
I'm guessing this non volatile 16M chip can be used instead of the EE prom of Atmel 2560.
Can this be utilised in Multiwii 2.3 Navi B7 for flight data/waypoints & if so how to enable.
Anyone know?
Cheers...B

Re: Crius AIOP V2 with data logging IC
IIRC, you can set 250+ WPs in the mission planner. Taking into account, that each WP has to have a minimum distance to the others, you would need a very huge battery ( long flight time ) to hit the limit of megas internal EEprom.
Why would EOSBandi bother to write a code for a specific FC?

Re: Crius AIOP V2 with data logging IC
I agree not required. Could this 16Mb flashram be used to store other parameters?
Re: Crius AIOP V2 with data logging IC
If anything it could be used to record telemetry, so that if it goes down unexpectedly you can 'go through the logs' to see received commands and motor outputs.. how many times have you walked from a crash and pointed a finger at the FC rather than anything else, that would at least prove the case (or not if it was hardware malfunction)
Re: Crius AIOP V2 with data logging IC
Any developers know how to turn this feature on with Crius AIOP V2?
And once logged how to download this data from the 2Mb EEProm.
