MultiWii

Hi,

I have added a joystick & gamepad feature in the MultiWiiConf software.
Currently It's only available for PC/Laptop with Windows. And its MultWii version 2.2.



The sofware is available for download. I also created a complete installation and user guide (webpage).

I love the idea and I have gone through your blog too. Any plans of making this for V2.3?

i am trying something similar, but then I have a hard time controlling the quad.

@wipo : by the looks of it you were able to do the control pretty okay, were you using any special setting for the multiwii like custom PID?

- The plan is to make a modified version of the MWC v2.3

- PID settings on the FC board are the same when flying with normal RC or with the gamepad.

Joystick feature now available for multiwiiconf v2.3 (mwii firmware v2.3).

No changes to joystick gui or joystick modes. Just an compatibility upgrade from v2.2 to v2.3

Nice idea. I try to found yours project sources fo adding RC and back video channel via UDP( on WiFi or 4G) but not luck. I had to write everything yourself (I use another joystick library) All look like this:

So good idea - add emulation of additional analog sticks via gamepad buttons for example for throttle or aux like I make in my version
