Just came across these yesterday and wondered if it would be of any use to us. If would work seems like it would save us a lot of time and battery life.

What the library does seems similar to the Ziegler-Nichols method for automatic tuning. See wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PID_contro ... ols_method
