this is a better site as it provides all the numbers you need to plug into the software for declination.
calculating Magnetic Declination
Re: calculating Magnetic Declination
Seems like every site I go to I get a different value. In the MultiWii code, what does the f at the end of the value represent? Can someone tell me what value would be plugged into the code for zipcode 70570 in USA?

OPELOUSAS
Latitude: 30° 31' 60" N
Longitude: 92° 4' 53" W
Magnetic declination: 1° 3' EAST
Declination is POSITIVE
Inclination: 60° 2'
Magnetic field strength: 48244.9
degree+minutes*(1/60)
1+3*1/60 or 1.05f

Thanks, that is what I have been running with but, I was never 100% sure.
Re: calculating Magnetic Declination
Your declination is so low. Here in No. CA its 14.23.
Has me thinking my less than stellar results with RTH may be because of this.
I have tried 0, 7.12 & 14.23 with no real change.

Re: calculating Magnetic Declination
What GPS? I have a UBLOX Neo-6 in binary mode connected via RCTimer i2c module to a Crius AIO Pro. POS HOLD is amazing and RTH is spot on. How's your magnetometer? Solid, calibrated well? Away from EMF noise(ESCs, battery, power distribution board, etc?)
