question about EXT MOTOR RANGE

Post by p25o1 »

hi everyone,

i just have a question about the EXT_MOTOR_RANGE option,

i'm using a quadrino zoom rev 1e which is based on the Nano ATmega328

can it support the EXT_MOTOR_RANGE option, and if no why?

if i enable this option , do i need to re calibrate my escs?

thx everyone

EXT_MOTOR_RANGE is for special ESCs for brushed config, not for conventional ESCs.

i have flashed my esc with simon firmware ,

i wanted to know that will the EXT_MOTOR_RANGE give me their full potential?

will the esc still act as a normal esc if i don't enable EXT_MOTOR_RANGE.

EXT_MOTOR_RANGE also works with (special version of) ziss_dm's Flash for brushless ESC!

Yes, it was the even first purpose of this option: being able to support [0-2000] microsecond range ESCs.

A nice side effect is: it's also ok for brushed motor :) I use it currently on a small ladybird frame with a custom board.
