Serial Send GPS coordinates

I look for a way how to send the current gps coordinates via serialport .
The Proplem is , with the newest dev are only support serialize8 and serialize16 , but gps coordinates have 5 bytes -.-

to send the coordinates via wi232 if rc control lost and the mw crash
its mutch easyer to refind the mw

For viewing in GUI, for example.
