I discovered a problem with the MultiWii firmware for the RCTimer(Crius) bluetooth module.
I have a multiwii pro board with GPS connected and working and running MultiWii version 2.3 with an 8 Channel receiver connected.
However
If I move the joysticks a bit too fast or leave the board running without EZ-GUI even being connected, the MultiWii crashes and I have to powercycle the board. This is not an EZ-GUI problem - it looks like there is a problem with bluetooth in Mutiwii FC firmware version 2.3
The reason I suspect the bluetooth firmware is that I can view the board when connected with a USB cable and it is rock solid.
If I disconnect the bluetooth module, it is rock solid.
I will also test with version 2.2 and see how that goes.

Re: RCTimer bluetooth crashes MultiWii 2.3
SOLVED. The problem was that I had enabled Startech LCD on the same port and the two devices conflicted. I removed the LCD as it is no longer needed now I have the bluetooth connection and all is fine.
Thought this might help someone.
Note that I did not try the two modules on different ports.

Re: RCTimer bluetooth crashes MultiWii 2.3
disquiet.
version MultiWii_dev_2014_01_14__r1648
fly with bluetooth and make a RTH problem..
crash twice.
collapse in the herbs.
I tested one thing.
I disable it in config.h //# define USE_MSP_WP.
and def.h in the section (CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1)
//# define MPU6050_I2C_AUX_MASTER //MAG connected to the I2C bus of TO MPU6050
thereafter I made 4 RTH more problem.
I recommend, not to fly with bluetooth connected
just for PID settings
may be coincidental

no general problem is known with flying while BT connected (and in constant use for infight data). I do it with all my multirotors all the time.
