Deadband not working?

Post by krst »

Hi

Using a crius se board and trying to set the deadband in the config file. I have tried both the 2.0 and the 2.0_dev version and cant seem to get the deadband to work, uncomment the deadbind line and even set a number as high as 50 and still in the configurator i see that the sticks does not center and the throttle is not equal because of that. Am I pherhaps just doing this wrong/understood this function wrong or someone else have seen something similar?

It will still show the value being transmitted by your Tx - in flight you will feel the dead band working.

Many thanks! Was hoping for something like that but was and still are confused as the throttle respons to me appers in the GUI to be affected by the pots not centering, guess then that is just a GUI issue or me reading it wrong.

The turnigy 9x does not have the best of pots so very needed function!

you don't need to get your Tx bang on 1500 mid points anyway - so long as it is close. Same goes for the range 1000 - 2000

998 - 1989 is fine as is 1002 - 2003 etc etc.
