Motor control in GUI

Post by Farmer_joe »

Maybe it is just me, but i relay like the motor control in GUI on my MK.

It would be useful tool to fine balance your props without unplugging servo connector and use of servo tester.

Useful but it's really quite dangerous.

I use it to try motor by motor and turn the prop in relation to motor bell... Not all motors at the same time.

Totally not stupid and totally not dangerous.
How would it be dangerous?
[x] Motor test (click to enable).
Then sliders/whatever for each motor. Checkbox for "all motors".
Makes perfect sense.
Message can be made like
motor_idx (if high bit is set, all motors) + 2 byte motor speed (i.e. 1000..2000us).
motor control message doesn't get sent unless motor test is enabled etc.
