Hi Alex,
What do you think about re-implementing multiple PID profiles. Now we have switches fully programmable, we also could assign PID profiles to them. I see the following benefits:
1) Easier ajustments - you can easyly switch between "OLD" and "NEW" values inflight and see difference.
2) Flight modes Acro/Camera/FPV/... etc
3) Could be usesed for failsafe in future.
Multiple configuration "profiles"
Re: Multiple configuration "profiles"
Funny!
I have a dual sensor setup where I can change sensors
1 WM+ only
1 WM+ and NK
If I should need I also have 2 Arduino's so I can replace the current one with a spare or alternate programmed if you llike...
It's not the best solution but that is the parts I have available at home atm
I'm also working on a shield to mount more sensors...

+1 on that!
It's also very useful to switch different pid (and rate) profiles in flight, to change from acro mode to very slow and stable Fpv mode.
And maybe, like MK, tie a value to a radio channel and see what changes in flight...
