PPM sum activation ?

Post by TOURNEUR »

HI everybody
I have buyed a 'hextronik nanowii v01' for a specific use for underwater rov.

I would like to use the ppm signal to control my servos through the nanowii module .

When i connect my ppm sum signal on the module, I see the 6 virtual servos on 'Multiwiiwin gui' which moving.

But when i disconnect it from my computer to use it in standalone no pwm signal appear on the servos ports .

The ppm sum function is it normally deactivate ,when we buy one for the first time ?

Could I activate this ppm function through Multiwiiwin gui ?

Or do I need realy use arduino gui with a new multiwii firmware modified ?

Thanks for any help

Yes, PPM Sum can only be activated during compiling. So you will have to modify config.h in the source code and flash the modified firmware.

Hi ,

I had entering in the config.h mode of multiwii and selected ppm sum .

But I obtain a fixed square signal, on all servos ports not a pwm signal ,proper to control any servos .

I asked myself ,if it possible to configure a nanowii as a very simple ppm sum to servos controler .

Because, the multiwii boards where built to control esc motor ,start with a minimum throttle ...

But can we configured this board like my desired configuration....

Thanks
