Spektrum-DX6i-Transmitter (No RX signal )[FIXED]

Post by Amefuri »

Hello guys, too many questions for a night huh, I have been dealing with this multiwii crius 2.5 for a time and it really is kinda pain in ass configurating.
First it had some kinda sensor anomalies and now after all sensors working and after sucessefull sketch uploads without any errors I can't manage to receive any signal from my transmitter. Any direction I push the stick, It doesn't show up on the Multiwii GUI 2.3 which I am using. I also have sketch uploaded using that version. Tried 2.4 ( same thing ).
In both multiwii config and WINGUI I can see that I am receiving and sending data , all sensors working but no radio.
Everything is well connected ( I double checked and in my receiver its easier to find the right channel because its well labeled) I am using Spektrum AR610
6ch Sport Receiver.
I did the calibration of each motor 1 by 1 directly with the receiver and it worked perfectly. I did calibration of accel and magn after sketch upload and I did calibrate the stick limits of my transmitter using this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8gU_x3vBBw
I tried to do Travel Adjust but not sure how much % should I set for each channel.

Here is the screenshot. As you see no I2C errors.

Here is my config.h

Hi
did you get your RX working?

I have a similar problem

No, I didn't. But I am not going to give up untill I find the way. The funny thing is. When I was messing up with configs I made a connection for only 1 time and I got all the radio data on GUI. But then I did something and I never got it again. I don't remember where I was doing that, in transmitter conf or somewhere else.
I only know that it worked. So why shouldn't it work for second time.
By the way, did you damage your board by any chance? Any bad connection or blinking anomalies?
Just asking, to be certain.
I hope someone already had this issue and know how to fix that.

Okey, I fixed it :D
After reading this thread : viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4679
I was thinking something was wrong with mine MWC board but I am happy I didn't give up.
Here what I did for it to work:
1st: I used version 2.4 of multiwii and its GUI. Uploaded sketch with #define MOTOR_STOP because when I arm the motors they start spinning at low throttle.
2nd: I created a new model in my transmitter for ACRO mode with everything on default except in Travel Adjust I set rudder for both sides 105% for better arming and disarming AND I inverted rudder because the multiwii would only arm from left bottom corner and disarm on right bottom corner. ( I don't know why. I am trying to find a fix for it. ) So if you want to arm your motors without inverting, you should Try left bottom corner. Worked for me.
3rd: The connection from receiver to Multiwii crius was made like this : Image
Sorry for bad paint but I was in hurry.
Tell me if it worked. Also, you can find my sketch here: http://www.pastebin.ca/2999224
But its for Tricopter.

Any ideas why arming was inverted by default ?
