Lynxmotion Quadrino Nano - UAV / Drones Flight Controller

Post by dialfonzo »

Hi All,

We are, at Lynxmotion, very proud and exited to introduce a new UAV / Drones flight controller born from a partnership between the well known FlyingEinstein and Lynxmotion team. We focused on many things on that project:

The Press Release:
RobotShop Continues its Expansion in the UAV Market by Acquiring FlyingEinstein’s Technology
http://www.prweb.com/releases/quadrino/uav/prweb12227131.htm

- Have all the available and up to date hardware MultiWii support
- Mount all that hardware on the smallest possible size format
- Provide an easy to use Software Updating Tool
- Integrate protection to the bare PCB

After many long months of work around those constraints, we are ready to show what we did for you.

Hi All,

We are now shipping Lynxmotion Quadrino Nano Flight Controllers to everyone who Pre-Ordered this product. In fact we started shipping Tuesday (14-04-2015). You should receive a shipping confirmation by email very soon if you haven't already. At the same time, we released the first version of our Firmware Configuration Tool (FCT). This program will guide you to setup and load MultiWii in the ATmega2560. Make sure to download & try it.

Quadrino - Firmware Configuration Tool (FCT) https://flyingeinstein.com/installer/fct/setup.exe

Some of the FCT features:
  • USB drivers detection / Link to download them
  • Latest MultiWii 2.4 (will add earlier version soon)
  • Support for the earlier version of Quadrino's and the new Quadrino Nano
  • Step by Step configuration without the need for Arduino IDE
  • Profile Saving for multiple frames
  • Starting PID creation based on user input
  • Built-in WinGUI & MultiWiiConf installer and shortcuts

Another good news is that the Lynxmotion Quadrino Nano is now "In Stock" and ready to ship as well. For customers in Europe, stock will be transferred shortly and shipping will start within 10 days. Don't worry, we have enough for everyone and Pre-Order units are reserved.

Hi All,

We just release a quick new tutorial which explain the different steps involved to calibrate your UAV / Drone ESC (electronic speed controller).
It cover the standard way but also the MultiWii procedure which does the calibration on all ESC's at once and the the right range of signal.

You can have a look at our previous Quadrino Nano - Tutorials as well on the RobotShop Blog.
We will work on making more of those tutorial.
