MultiWii PRO V2 Setup

Post by Beetlex1968 »

I setup my board, but when i connect it to the computer, the Motoroutputs on the Screen ( MultiWii GUI ) look interesting:

1.)when the copter is level ( acc calibrated ) with only Throttle open, ALL motors should have the same command ( or not ? )... but they dont 1250 - 1450 roughly

2.) when i ( disconnected from USB ) connect the copter to the LiPOs, the ESC start making noise, as if they get no valid signals ( i configred them with a servos tester connected to all in parallel )

3.) my i connect the board via USB to the Laptop AND also power it via the ESC´s ?

Cheers

Beetlex,

1) Try calibrating the ACC again. All motor values should be similar when the MRC is level.

2) The ESCs will beep a few times and then stop. If they continue to beep, it is like the MUltiWii code is not properly running on the Pro 2 board. Be sure that the Arduino sketch is set up properly for the Pro 2 board in config.h

3) Yes, you can power the MRC by the Lipo pack and USB to PC or Laptop. When powered only by USB, the receiver will not have power so it is for sketch uploading only. When powered by both, you can use the MultiWii GUI or Configuration utility.

Good luck!
