Anyone ever bought a baro from these guys/

I've had my eye on this baro for a week or two. It's just £5 incl shipping to UK.
I want to connect this to my nanowii to stop my naughty puppy quad from running skywards at every opportunity.

I'd appreciate any thoughts people might have on this.

Hi,
I bought a similiar baro, don't know from which dealer.
The issue with that typ of baros is:
Even when 5V compatibility is mentioned they were actually designed for 3,3V or less.

Looking at the board reveals there is only a voltage regulator. This might become an issue if you connect SCL/SDA lines with pull-up resistors to 3,3V to another board with pull-ups to 5V resulting in unpreferable currents. There are three solutions for it:
1. buy a separate logic converter
2. connect it to the slave sda/slc pins of a MPU6050 or similiar
3. make sure that all the pull-ups are bent to 3,3V

The better solution including a separate logic converter and avoiding the additional effort is for more or less the same price:

Thanks Quadbow. I'll need to check about those levels, but I think the NanoWii has 3.3v supply, so 'should' be okay out of the box.

Looks a little neater. Might give one of those a go for 'chute triggering on rocket flights at a later date. So cheap that I don't mind if it gets blown to bits!
