Hello guys,
I'm having some trouble with my newly purchased CN-06 GPS and I'm not sure if I'm just stupid, or the GPS is broken.
I downloaded the u-center 7.02 and connected the GPS over a USB/serial converter. TXD from GPS directly to the converter,
TXD from the adapter over 1K and Z-diode to levelshift.
I can connect with 9600 baud and recieve some data, but it is impossible to change the baudrate. Everytime I try to change the baudrate,
the connection dropps and I have to select 9600 again to recieve data. What am I missing?
Happens with u-center,hTerm,miniGPS1.4 and the FC. Everything work fine in 9600, but 4800, 38400 or 115200 woun't work...
Thanks!
The image showes what I get, when I connect over 9600baud

I have the same GPS. And I to couldn't set baudrate and 5hz refresh with u-center 7.0.2. So I've downloaded multiwii r1177 and it's working like it's should. r1177 automaticly set your gps.
Re: GPS uBlox NEO-6M CN-06 v2 again
I'm working with the Naze32.
I've tried different baudrates and gps_types but only 19200 is running,
so the FC doesn't help me ether, but other people have the same GPS running with
the Naze32 and the actual firmware, so it must be a matter of the GPS.
Any other ideas?
If the GPS is okay, it should be possible to change the baudrate!?

Hi folks,
I encountered the same problem saving data to this module. Finally i clicked several times to send after setting the baud rate wit the lock open then with the lock closed the same with the refresh rate (send several times with lock open and lock closed) and finally the same in config over but checking all the options (lock closed, lock opened and several times send). After that mess remembered the module the settings. Now i purchased a second module and it worked the same way too.
