Hi,
my GY-86 sometimes just stops working.
I had some flips at the first flight but the problem was gone until today, I was reheeally high in FPV and was enjoying it like a child and the copter dropped like a stone, lucky me landed in a tree, so nothing happens, a few moments later the same happened at 2m height, and once more 5 minutes later, I flew over 3 weeks without problems.
If I try to fly again after a this happens, the copter wants do bank to te left with full throttle, and acro mode is not trying to compensate at all.
I once managed to get this while the GUI was connected and the I2C errors went to the roof.
I have to disconnect and reconnect the lipo to be able to fly again.
I am not sure what may be the problem here: If there is a loose solder joint, would this be the behaviour one can expect or is there another problem?
I will enable telemtry to see i2C errors after the next time without gui.
Nils

Hi,
might be, I just tested it by unplugging and repluging the I²C bus - behavior uis the same, the bus recovers but the gyros and sensors stay dead...
Is this fixable?

Found it,
it was a loose connector on the I²C plug,
I stripped it and bent it and it seems okay now...
