FC Breadboarding

Post by copterrichie »

Hey Guys and Ladies, if you are into bread-boarding your own Flight Controller, I find these new Meduino Pro mini Enhancement(3.3/5V adjustable)/16MHz MEGA328 extremely easy to use. They have all of the Digital pins on one side unlike the Promini. They are compatible with the NANO so you get an additional two analog ports and the I2C pins lines up with the bread board. Great Deal for $10.40 US.

Here is a picture of MiniMollie's bread-board FC using one of the Enhanced Promini.

I purchased these some time ago and the newer ones purchased no longer have PPM on the the Battery pins. :(

How long ago?

I have the EXACT same RX I think, but never thought to try the bat pin for PPM!

About a year, your best bet is to try it or place a scope on the battery pin and see.

Mine wasn't a year ago, got it at the start of March...

I will have a look at the pin and pray! (Only way to tell as I don't have a scope handy :P)
Anybody want to donate a DSO Nano to me?

This has been around for some time now, for me, it too complicated. I prefer using a standard mega and a breadboad like this.
