how to identify faulty ACC

Post by tovrin »

when i finally got my quad to react properly in acro mode, i tried using level mode and got a nasty wobble until i turned it off. my P settings across the board are 2, with I and D at 0

i dont believe it was my pid settings that caused this, i think my ACC might be askew, and ill explain why.

1. i recently connected my FTDI cable to the wrong ports on my paris board, and powered it up before i realized. it still appears to work, but
2. my ACC does not zero out anymore, pitch and roll center at -1, +1 even after calibration.
3. the wobble of death only shows its face when acc is active. (I dont know if it existed prior, i had a nasty wobble in level mode since i get it airborne till now)

I dont get any i2c errors on the gui.

how do i determine if it is bad?
