Nano COMM issues
I tore the USB plug off my nano. I can still communicate with it over bluetooth but want to modify some of the options in the code. any suggestions?
Re: Nano COMM issues
you mean like uploading new MWI software? Then probably not. For upload it requires a reset to trigger the bootloader just before sending. Your usb-ftdi does it automatically (triggered via software on PC side).
Nothing to loose, so:
You could try and establish BT connection, then trigger upload and press reset button when you think upload might start. big lottery.
If resetting the arduino does kill the BT connection you are SOL. Buy a new one.

Re: Nano COMM issues
thanks for the help!
well 1.9 is installed on there but I wanted to reconfigure it to use PPM sum. I beleive that it wont be long before someone figures out how to upload the firmware over BT.

Re: Nano COMM issues
also I wonder if I could plug a FTDI adaptor onto it.
Re: Nano COMM issues
Turn your nano around. On the backside there is the FTDI chip. Take a standard usb cable and solder the 4 wires to GND, VCC and USBDM and USBDP.
