genuine WMP with up to 380kHz?

Hi,

i found that my two genuine WMP setups seem to work with up to 380kHz since i use them with +5v 2,2k pullups instead of the internal ones...

i remember that i tried it before with internal pullups and thay dont work with anay more then 100kHz..
now i did some tests .. and with 350kHz i have a cycletime arround 1900 with 0 i2c errors .. and it flyes well :)

so is there something miss? or could that be possible?

regards

Felix

hmm.. i did some more fly tests now and it seems to be less stable with higher Hz :(

Although that could be a symptom that your sensors are not compatible with your higher I2C speed, it could also be something less serious. For example, if your cycles times are significantly less when you changed to the higher I2C speed, then the old PID values may need to change to compensate for the new cycle time.

I have gotten the genuine WMP to run reliably at 200kHz, I agree with Thomas, running the ones I have at 200 verse 100 required PID retuning.
