Airplane Gimbal Controler

Post by diogodailha »

Hello, I have a plate Multiwii CRIUS and wonder if I can connect it to operate only a gimbal on a plane for image capture flights.
It would be possible to connect only the gimbal? Cause I'm trying to bind only to the plate without the addition of engines and nothing happens. How to do this?
Any hint is welcome.
I can do this with my TMF board, is just plug the gimbal in the board and it works....
Tks

you need to define GIMBAL in config section, not multirotor.

(and adjust servo travel... define which board it is..)

that way stabilisation will work even without receiver, only 5V is needed :)
if you want, you can connect pitch and roll to turn camera manually where you want, and still have stabilisation ON.

Hello Dr.Tom ...

I'm new in the programming area and never programmed in C + + or arduinno ...
Will you be able to give me the ropes and I spend some tutorial or posts for me to learn how to configure the board?
For you understand where I stopped, already downloaded the prog, and managed to connect the card to the comp with success. I managed to open the config file and edit it, but i could not upload to the board. So I changed the configs, connecting the gimbal and disabling hip and gps function has no effect.
Help a beginner in this rotten world of programming.
Thanks Diogo
