Crius MWC SE 2.5 OSD port (BT and OSD)

Post by JDCBIE »

Hello,

I'am trying to figure out howto connect my OSD (rush-OSD) on the MWC SE 2.5 board.
I've already got the bluetooth adapter hooked up on the UART port, and as i understand this port should also used for OSD (telemetry data) ?
Is it possible to hookup the OSD system on a different port then on the UART port? So i can use both the bluetooth adapter and OSD functionality ?

Thanx in advance!

Regards,

Hmm, what about;

They're talking about MultiWii Serial Protocol.

Is it working so that whatever device on whatever serial port is used, the protocol will answer to the right query on the right port ?

So a OSD does a telemetry query on whatever serial port and gets a reply from the MultiWii Serial Protocol ?

They are talking about an atmega 2560 based board, which has several serial ports, and are saying that you don't need to configure what kind of device is attached.. this doesn't mean you can slap two different devices on a single port.

Thanks for your reply, so it is just due the simple fact that the atmega328 (Crius MWC SE 2.5) has just one serial port.
