BaseFlight Config/Firmware troubles

Post by MacMac »

Hello I'm Mac and I'm new to drones please take it easy on me ;)

Currently I'm having a difficult time with firmware update.

I purchased the MOJO Drone from a local hobby store. It was preassembled. I have the Naze32 Rev 5 Hopefully its not a clone. How can I tell?

Originally I download all the required software/drivers/firmware for windows 8.1 that was suggested by aerialfreaks site. There was no port detected and after a full day of uninstalls reinstalled without any luck, I moved to Vista.

There the ports where found but then times out and closes.

I have reviewed a few threads and videos for the flash and they appear to show the same example time out but these videos show that the firmware can still be installed.
Unfortunately, when I do try to load the current online flash I receive "Communication Failed, wrong response, expected: 121 received: 0" then "STM32-time out, programming:FAILED"

In summary.

How can I tell if the Naze32 Rev5 is a possible Clone?

What am I doing wrong with firmware update?

Again please bear with me.

Thank you for your time.
