Naze 32 problem changing default Quadp to quadx

Have Fun fly board Rev3 basic, ie no mag or baro.Got it programmed with latest baseflight,but cannot change in Putty to QUADX.In theory it has accepted the change to quadX.However it is showing in Multiwii GUI as quadP!!
Went back to putty and it is showing quadp only!!.Tried feature -QUADP,get invalid command.In mixer enable QUADX and save.I am not a programmer.so could someone please point me in the error of my ways!! please

mixer quadx DOES work.
Upgrade to latest (on https://github.com/multiwii/baseflight/tree/master/obj) firmware, reset all settings.
btw, default mixer is quadx, so you could just reset settings to defaults to get that, too.

With reset all settings you mean to load hex file to FC and then with baseflight conf hit Reset to defaults?
