HK Multiwii Pro 2.2 arming

Post by glasair200 »

Have loaded mw 2.2 to my new HK Pro board. Almost everything is working fine, including gps. What is not working is the "arm" feature. I cannot arm with RIGHT YAW. With Multiwii Win GUI, I "force" the arming feature by activating the arming by checking a box in the unused auxiliary 3 section of "RC Control Settings". The motors run continuously and respond to throttle, but cannot be shut off without unplugging the battery. I have gone over everything I can find regarding ARMING, but cannot cure this issue. I might add....I have Calibrated ACC and calibrated the esc's multiple times. I am using the new HK 4-in-1 20 amp esc. I have tried their calibration procedure and the Multiwii procedure.

Obviously, it is dangerous to operate with motors that cannot be shut off from the transmitter.

HAS ANYONE HAD SUCH AN EXPERIENCE....WHAT IS THE FIX? HELP

Hey,
i dont know if i got you right.
But if you check an AUX port for arming, you have to use the corresponding AUX switch on your rc for arming procedure.
If your RC does not have a AUX3 port(for example channel 5-9 on your RC TX/RX) or its not connected to your FC , your microcontroller will keep seeing a signal around 1500 at your AUX 3 port.
Depending if you choose High/Mid/Low this may mean arm! to the fc. And it wont stop, as it will ignore the yaw input as soon as you set arm to any aux.

If you want to arm per yaw. Unselect every AUX channel for arming. Nothing needs to be checked to be able to arm via stick.

Keep in mind your transmitter potis nead to reach a signal around 1000(disarm) and 2000(arm) at full deflection to be able to disarm/arm your FC as scrat mentioned in your other post. ;)

Hope that helps.
