MultiWii Help Please.

Post by Seven5555 »

I'm new here and I've been at this for a few days. I'm having issue after issue and I think I'm over my head.

Now I'm receiving this error when I try to upload from arduino

avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x03

I have the jumper on the MultiWii 328p on connect usb. I have 2 red lights on 3v and 5v

in the arduino tools menu boards is arduino mini atmega 328

i have no idea which programmer to use because i can't find anyplace where its discussed.

It really seems this shouldnt be as difficult as it is to get going. Is every step of the way like this?

Any help is appreciated, I'm sorry for my frustration but I only ask for help as a last resort and I need someone to walk me through or something. please thank you

He has solved his upload problem. It was an incorrect tools setting. We figured it out a few days ago.

I'm having the same problem, can you please tell me what was the solution? Would be of great help!

I'm having the same problem again, the solution I had before is not working. I've had nothing but issues with this board so I put it down for awhile, now that I picked it back up, I'm dependent for help again. Please help, begging.

I decided to go with cleanflight, nothing but problems with every solution and no help that works. So, if anyone will help me here, i'd greatly appreciate it. I have spent too many hours without progress and need real solutions or to be done with this Multiwii board. Maybe I got a bad one, I dunno, there's no way to find out as far as I've. Thank you.

I can sense your patience is going down today, Kbev5709 (btw mine has been low recently so no help from me) ;)

Seven5555, I can only suggest this viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6840. It simplifies a lot but it is not for everyone.

RTF is good alternative though!

Yeah, some people are not meant to be understood. We can speak and write to no avail... I feel like there is increasingly big group of newcomers to RC world that are not committed enough. Watching youtube videos is great and motivating but to actually build something yourself is a completely different ball game. It requires decent level of personal skills like patience, planning or ability to analyse things, as well as it requires technical experience. Without them they are doomed.
Interestingly, the technical skills can be learned and explained. But if someone cannot simply stop and think of what they are doing in enough depth, it's a lost cause.

Well, lets not put off less skilled folks than yourself :) Not that you are overskilled but hey, it does not take that much of experience to get into RC.

Keep your good work going!

I apologize for my frustrated posts here. He Kbev was rude and insulting and did so unprovoked by me. I am sorry, but he was already hot about something before I posted frustrated. I meant no disrespect here. He really didn't help me with the issues I was having so I put it down for a couple of months and figured I was too new. I just came back since I learned more about RC and thought vI'd try again. I told him that. When I told him of the issue I was having and he lashed out. . So, I am sorry for posting frustrated. I'm certain that I'm not the first to do that but that is no excuse for his behavior.
