2.4 config wont open

hi all just trying to open multiwiiconf 2.4 but all for performing this action i get is a message saying ( this file dose not have a programme associated with it for performing this action ) i believe it is a java based program but i have java so im totally confused

Can you please post the exact error message you're getting? Are you sure you're trying to open the correct version (for example the windown 32b version on a mac or 64bit PC)

iv attached a screenshot of the message i get when trying to open multiwiiconf im using windows 8 64 bit iv tried to open both 64 and 32 bit versions with the same outcome
im sorry but im useless with computers unless its basic
