WinGUI connection problem.

When i try to connect WinGUI to the board i get this error, see attached image (in Swedish). It says that Value is too high 65535 and need to be between Max and Min.

.

Any ideas where to start looking? Could it be caused by an error in the board code or is it a problem with the WinGUI installation?

Thanks

What MultiWii version are you trying to connect to?

I'm setting it up for an airplane using the file from this site: http://fotoflygarn.blogspot.se/2014/04/ ... plane.html

Cannot find the version listed but must be 2.3 as he is working on 2.4

Hi Frank.
WinGui crashes like your's if
#define USE_MSP_WP isn't enabled in Config.h
But the older "Stable" version don't have support for Waypoints.

If you use my Version it's set as V2.3 in order to work with Wingui.
MWii Gui from V2.3 & V2.4 will work.

Thanks, it works after enabling the USE_MSP_WP.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Have you tried using the standard MultiWii Configurator?

This is my first post. Just started MW Quad November 2014.

I have encountered the same problem when connecting MW 2.4 to WinGUI_2.3pre10(b7).

Then I opened WinGUI_2.3pre8(b5), get connected with MW 2.4, disregarding some message, click several places, just for a try.
After that, re-opened WinGUI_2.3pre10(b7) and connected with MW 2.4 without error.

But every time EEPROM is cleared, then the above work with older Gui shall be done.
Also, if you push "Load Defaults", the same work is necessary.
This is strange, but looks like working.

Just for your information, hoping the above will work.
