I'd like to use a Spektrum Satellite with a Tarot ZXY cable instead of a full receiver, but I also have two devices that operate off of receiver channels #7 and #8 (a video A/B switcher and something to toggle my LED lights). There must be a way to re-purpose some of the flight inputs as AUX outputs so I can control these two devices. Basically, I'd want to keep AUX1 and AUX2 for control of FC features, but I'd like to redirect AUX3 and AUX4 out the pins generally used for other stuff (like AILE and RUDD).
Does anyone have any guidance on where I might get started? I assume it would involve some custom coding? Or is this something that has already been done and just needs to be exposed via changes to config.h?

this is a good question, and after looking into it for a bit i think you could use cam trig & led output pins/gui options
