how to arm motors with too little servo-throw ?

Post by dodecopter »

hi,

for my 3rd copter i would like to use a very cheap 4 channel Tx.

problem is : in GUI i do not reach the YAW 1100/1900 to arm/disarm motors, the yaw-servo-throw is too little, and not adjustable in Tx. .

is ist possible to change the code in order to arm motors at 1200 and disarm at 1800?

and if possilbe, does that give new other problems...?

hi,

thank you so much :)

i step forward to get a simple copter into the air for less than 100,- euro. included TX/Rx !!

the hobbyking T4A V2 4-channel 2,4ghz frequency-hopping is available in euro-warehouse (important for european - it has CE + FCC ...no extra taxes, and cheap and fast 3 day shipping ) for 20,- euro.
its simple, has just servo reverse and trim, but works fine with a fun-copter.

the servo-throw is just from 1120 to 1830, but with that little mod in code its working great.
