MultiWii Stability Problem

Post by unknown1 »

Hi folks!!
ive done it again and got myself in way to deep with a hobby i dont really have any knowledge of!! But loved the idea and had to get one! slightly regreting it now though after nearly taking out a horse in the field behind my house!!! and more importantly snapping the motor arm of the quad!!! but not as bad as i was expecting (got me over the first flight jitters!!) now to why i think i had a problem flying the thing! it seems that after any input from the yaw or pitch stick does not correct its self once back to the central position??? is this normal?? as if i left it at would just drift away unless i try to correct it which then its at some distance with no camera set up for a beginner is rather difficult  i did intend to keep it near by but before you know its miles away lol!! it also wondered in gps hold but i would just be glad to get to the bottom of the first problem i know now there is so much to learn on these things any help would be very much appreciated!!!

CHEERS!!!!!!

ps could do with knowing a good place for spares
multiwii v 2.2 i think
on a dji f 450 i think

by the sounds of it you didnt enable what used to be called 'stable' but is now either angle or horizon

i use horizon, but you must configure via gui to have either of these on by default always or bound to an aux channel to switch them.
