Test Multiwii without ESC

Hi,
if i test a Arudino pro mini + wii motion plus over ftdi on pc without any other components like motor, esc or reciever connected should i get a normal signal on the GUI?
i just recive strange gyros signals :/

yes, normally you should.....

however, you still might have to power the MW with a proper 5V supply (from an ESC or UBEC, or similar)
USB power alone often is not sufficient, causing all kinds of strange behaviour.

Please remember to disconnect the 5V pin from the FTDI to the MW when using another power source.
