no Gyro or ACC stick recalibration in MW 2.2

Hi,
I recently been trying to upgrade to 2.2 - Everything works fine except that I cannot recalibrate the gyro or Acc with the usual TX stick combos- All other versions of the software calibrate w/ no problem ( I was previously using dev1143 )
Ive tried : clearing EEprom and resetting TX trims and sub trims- all are at 1500 when centered in GUI
I should mention that ACC trim works, but it can only read either pitch or roll at one time - like for example, it'll read back or left, but not back and left simultaneously.
i assume that the stick calibration combos have not changed and that it should work just like all the previous versions.... is there something Im missing?
