Beginners Question: Altitude Hold with Hexa and Sonar

Post by maecki »

Hi

I Just upgraded my X525 to a self build Hexa. I can fly it and it is quite stable but i wanted to use a SRF02 to activate Altitude Hold like described in the Flightmodes table. Problem is, that i cannot leave the throttle alone because the Copter always changes altitude. I thought the sonar would help but i see no improvement. The Flightcontrol is a MWC Crius SE v2 with Multiwii 2.2 and i have configured the SRF02 in the source. There are no i2c errors after i set up the right i2c address and in Multiwiiconf the Sonar is green. I also have put some foam over the Baro-Sensor. Should there be an option in Multiwiiconf to activate like Horizon or Angle via AUX switch?

What am i doing wrong?

I don't think sonar is implemented yet to that extent (at least they seem to say as much here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3364 )

I also found that thread, but i could not believe that there was no implementation of the Altitude Hold on that sensor. Also the sonar is mentioned in http://www.multiwii.com/wiki/index.php? ... lightmodes
