impossible to fly mwc se --Solved--

Post by msouthcott »

I have my multiwii crius se copter all ready to fly. I can't get it off the ground. It is intent on maiming me or destroying everything in the immediate area.

1 motor is working much harder than the rest and that shows in the gui as well. It does yaw to the right if I try and yaw to the left 2 of the motors shut off. But it actually lifts off with 2 motors off and is more stable for a short period of time.

do I need to start pid tuning? I have never done that before. Any suggestions?

I have recalibrated the esc's multiple times with the same results.

I looked at all the motors pinouts they are correct I looked at the sensor feedback and they are correct. I can fly it for very short periods but it is extremely unstable and not happy at all in the air.

Wow another problem. Figured it out. 1 bad esc I put another 20amp not the same brand on there and it flies relatively well it does surge but it flies and it completely controllable.

Chances are all of your motors are spinning the wrong direction.

Reverse direction on all 4 motors, and make sure your R props are on the correct motors... then try again.
