Hi, I have had a few Quads before, having used the KK board and the FreeFlight V2 board.
I leant my FF quad to afried who hit the desk too hard, and the qyros became jittery.. I thne saw the Cruis board..
Anyway, after pluggin it in and turning it on, it seems to power up correctly.. blue led flashes about 1/2s rate, then red and ORange led's come on, blue leb flashes very rapibly for a sec, thane goues out.. after a few seconds the blue led starts flashing at 1sec rate, and the ORG & RED remain on. The motors are all beeping, as if waiting for init signal. I am using a Dx7 with AR6200 rx..
I have tried max end-points etc, but it does not respond to the usual arming sequence. I have tried all different stick movements and I did notice the blue led flashes suddenly when I put full ELE and Full Left AIL... and also the same for Full ELE wqith Full Right AIL..
I can get the Gui to open up, and connect with com3.. but nothing elase appears in the bottum section..
Whan I press "start" the usb-ser devfice flashes constantly for a long time, but nothing happens.. I can aslo stop it with the "stop" button. I can also get usb-ser flashes when I press ACC INIT.. but nothing with the REAd or WRITE buttons..
With the RX on, there is no indicators of the stick positions.. nothing is changing value when I Tilt the board.. ?
does anyone know what may be wrong ??
Should the unit ARM even before doing anything on the GUI ??
I have a LED unit, whivh briefly flashes the baud rate(9600) and some othe rinof, before going blank, but backlit.. no amount of sticvk movements will get any results on this LED unit ??
I am sure the board is not dead, and the fact that I get some blue led flashes on certain stick positions means that some software must be active ... so what it the issue .. anyone please !1
I have had this board for several months now, and I know it is a much better board than the FreeFlight one, but at least I could get it to work !

Re: Cruis MultiWii SE v@ board wont arm or ack gui
That board comes with multiwii v 1.9 in it and you need to use the v1.9 gui with it ! You have to set the endpoints in gui and if you haven't got it to connect to gui then your endpoints are not set and thats why you can't get it to arm ! You didn't say you installed newer firmware so im guessing you are using it as it was shipped to you ! Hope this helps

Re: Cruis MultiWii SE v@ board wont arm or ack gui
hi Chris, thanks for that inof.. yes I am using it as shipped.. so I will try the V1.9 gui .. setting the end point.. I presume that is self evident once I get the Gui working ? I did have some doco, but it seems to imply that once you get to the GUI, all will be revealed !!
thanks agian, I will update this thread if I get it working ok..

Hi Chris, I just tried the V1.0 Gui, which did exactly the same as the v2.0 gui.. ie connects ok, press start.. flashes but nothing.. how long do I have to wait, and what indicators should move when I move the sticks or move the board ??

Re: Cruis MultiWii SE v@ board wont arm or ack gui
You have to use multiwii 1.9 gui not 1.0 , maybe you mis typed it ! Did you go here and download multiwii 1.9 and use the multiwii.conf in it ? http://code.google.com/p/multiwii/downloads/list , and if this is what you did you may need to update your java on your computer ! The boxes in the upper right corner in gui is the tx bars that move with tx sticks and thats where you set endpoints ! Don't plug your flight battery up because the board will power with the usb ! Let me know if any of this works and if not you may need to install a driver on your computer and i can help you with that !

Chansen which ftdi usb are you using ? Are you using the crius ftdi ? Also can you post a screenshot of the gui with the board connected and running so i can see if you have any errors showing ?
