i read a bit about all the relevant stuff ( hw , sw ) ...
made the required soldering and uploaded software v2

started the configuration GUI and connected to Arduino.

it looks like it works ... or at list it looks like there is a connection ...

but it also looks like it does nothing ...

what am i not doing correct ?

You have got i2c errors so its not working how it should, re check all your connections you should have no i2c errors. Get rid of them then we can move forward.

Check that you have the correct sensors selected in the "config.h" file as well as checking your soldering connections.
