How to control servo angle

Post by dtom »

Hi all, sorry for my english not good frist

I just DIY the XCopter (450 like) and try to control servo for camera gimbal
MultiWii Ver:230
config.h setting is SERVO_MIN 1020, SERVO_MID 1500, SERVO_MAX 2000
but the servo just turn about 90 degrees
how can I control that servo about 120 degrees (or more)?

You don't. The servo is physically limited to 90°, if you want more, you'll need to buy a special servo.

physically limited means servo chip / arduino limited?
because I can trun the servo arm about 180° by my hand

Servo electronics and servo firmware.
Maybe servo hardware would allow 120 deg but beyond that servo hardware like gears is limiting too.
